Vintage Metal Fishing Rods

"Congress Quality" - Chief

Judging by the hardware and the looks of this rod, it was made by the Richardson rod & reel Co. A very nice example with collapsable rod section with glass line guides, cork handle with brass brads and brass inserts. The reel seat could be stainless and is marked with the words "Chief" and on the other side "Congress Quality" in very ornate font. $20.00 for the pair (REDUCED)

The Second is simply labeled "Defiance" I believe both of these to be Richardson's
